Support families in the community
Facilitate connections, relationships and support within the ME/CFS community in Ashburton to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.
Trained volunteers staff Civil Defence Welfare Centres in times of Civil Defence emergencies and disasters
3 Month Commitment (at a time) for approx. 1-2 hours a week, in where you will meet with a client and provide support and use your skills and strengths to empower and create change for Families with children under 10 years old.
We are always seeking for people with interest in volunteering for the Cancer Society. You will need to be a caring individual that has empathy for those going through a cancer journey in our region.
Our social justice advocates travel with clients as they navigate difficult situations. We provide one on one support in meetings and dealings with organisations, government departments etc.
