To reduce the incidence and impact of cancer in the community Support for patients to get them to treatment, providing accommodation when out of town for treatment, providing resources to fully inform people about their cancer, free turban and knitted knocker service. Appointments with Wig professional. Assistance with National Travel Assistance. Trained support staff to help deal with a cancer diagnosis. Wheelchair and Door Chime loan. The Cancer Society receive no government funding so reliant on our Fundraising activities (such as Daffodil Day and Relay For Life), Bequests and Donations to help us provide FREE services to those who are going through a cancer journey in the South Canterbury region.

DAFFODIL DAY COLLECTORS
We are always on the lookout for new collectors each year for our annual Daffodil Day appeal held the last Friday and Saturday in August.
Cancer Society Volunteers
We are always seeking for people with interest in volunteering for the Cancer Society. You will need to be a caring individual that has empathy for those going through a cancer journey in our region.
