We are looking for volunteers who can make a long-term commitment to improve the sustainability of the shop. Regular hours - the shop is open 10am-4pm Monday to Friday and 10am-1pm on a Saturday
We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to help sew together peggy squares and unfinished wool blankets that have been donated for local charities in South Canterbury.
To provide services at a Welfare Centre during a Civil Defence emergency
General Maintenance person needed to work with our other volunteers
keen persons required to learn all aspects of caring for and operating our Stationery Steam Engine
Patrolling both urban and rural areas in conjunction with NZ Police
Assisting with toy labelling/cleaning/stock management
Assisting with toy labelling/cleaning/stock management
Volunteers are needed to help sort clothing and iron clothing that are donated to the Hospice Mid Canterbury Shop
The volunteer/s would be checking toys being returned to make sure all toy pieces are complete, returning toys to shelves, talking to librarian about the toys being returned, showing families where different toys are located, and cleaning toys.
