Special Olympics South Canterbury
We provide quality year-round training and competition in a variety of sports for all children and adults with an intellectual disability, giving those athletes opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and participate in sharing life skills and friendships with their families, other athletes and the community.
Available Roles:
Club Sports Co-ordinator
To be a member of our small committee and to be a centralised club contact person for our Special Olympics sports events and entries, co-ordinating aspects related to event entry, participation, and hosting.
Club Secretary
We need a keen volunteer who can help on our small committee please. Our Special Olympics Club is a registered charitable trust and sport Club for people with an intellectual disability.
Athletics Coach
An easy role for person that could support our athetes to undertake their weekly (seasonal) training
