Welcoming Week Planting Day

Ashburton Community Conservation Trust, Council Biodiversity Team & Welcoming Communities invite you to come together and celebrate conservation,
community and belonging

When: Sunday, 13th of September

Where: Harris Scientific Reserve, 409 Lovetts Road, off Maronan Road

Bring: gloves, sturdy footwear, a spade if you have one, and your neighbours!

Time: 9.30 am Welcome

  Planting demonstration

Whether this is your first time holding a spade or you've been planting for years, come along! Together we'll put kanuka trees in the ground to restore biodiversity, support local wildlife, and keep this reserve alive for generations to come. The more hands, the better!
Morning tea provided.

No experience needed – All welcome!

Requirements:

Gloves, sturdy footwear, a spade if you have one, and your neighbours!.
You can borrow ours at the event too.
