Volunteers Needed for 2026 World Biodiversity Day Planting Event at Wakanui Beach Restoration Site

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join us for the 2026 World Biodiversity event in Mid-Canterbury. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to our local environment and support biodiversity efforts.
Date: Sunday, 24 May 2026.
Venue: Wakanui Beach Reserve at the lower Wakanui Beach Road, https://maps.app.goo.gl/CAqmPQRP8p4gsqBg8
Time: 9 am to 1 pm
All necessary tools will be supplied, and a delightful morning tea will be available for all participants. Also, the event is suitable for children and families, making it a perfect outing for everyone.

All necessary tools will be supplied, but bring a spade and garden gloves if you have them.
