Can you prepare simple breakfasts such as bacon and eggs, scrambled eggs, toast, cereal, fresh fruit, and hot drinks?
If so, we would welcome your support in our hospice kitchen during breakfast service, starting from 8.15am.
Volunteer Cooks work either independently or in pairs on a rostered basis. We offer flexible volunteering options, allowing you to contribute as many or as few hours as you are comfortable with. Some volunteers assist for a couple of hours once a month, while others volunteer once or twice a week.
Hospice breakfasts are straightforward to prepare, yet they play an important role in providing comfort and care to our patients.
No formal cooking qualifications are required—just a willingness to help and a caring approach.
