Inter-generational Playgroups - Co-Hosts
We have two opportunities available for people who love working with young children, and are comfortable being with the rest home residents.
Playgroup sessions are held monthly in two local rest homes, alternating between the two.
Co-hosts collect and return resources from the Plunket Rooms in Community House. They set up activities for the children and coordinate with the rest home's Activities Co-ordinator. All resources will be provided.

Requirements:

Good with people and children.
Own transport (need to collect and return resources from Community House)

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

1½ to 2 hours, once a month
