Minute Secretary

We are seeking a dedicated minute secretary to take minutes during our monthly committee meetings. This committee organizes a family fun day at Caroline Bay on the first Sunday of March each year.

The Secretary will be responsible for:

  • Preparing Agendas: Collaborate with the Chairperson to create detailed meeting agendas.
  • Taking Minutes: Accurately record discussions and decisions during meetings and write them up promptly afterward.
  • Managing Correspondence: Handle all incoming and outgoing emails and letters, ensuring timely responses and proper filing.
  • Maintaining Documents: Keep an organized file of key documents such as the constitution and agreements.
  • Assisting with Tasks: Support the Chairperson with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should:

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be computer literate, with skills in email and word processing; social media experience is a plus.

1-2 hours per month
