We are currently seeking a compassionate and empathetic woman to accompany and offer emotional support to our female client during her hospital appointments for infusion treatment for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), which occur every six weeks. Our client experiences anxiety before the infusion, and we are seeking an individual who can engage in friendly conversation and provide reassurance to help alleviate her distress.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, inflammatory, autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Approximately half of individuals with MS experience various cognitive issues, such as difficulties with memory, attention, and problem-solving. Infusion therapy is a treatment option that can help manage symptoms and slow the progression of the disease.
If you have the time and willingness to support someone living with MS, offering emotional support can have a profound impact on their quality of life. Your presence and understanding can make a significant difference in their experience with this challenging condition.
We are looking for an individual who demonstrates kindness, compassion, and a genuine understanding of others' feelings and experiences.
1 - 1.5 hours every 6 weeks.
