Stroke Club which helps stroke survivors recover and regain independence, is looking for male volunteers for its swimming exercise programme, GENTLE FUN AQUA EXERCISE GROUP. As a volunteer, you will be helping some stroke survivor members in the water whilst they carry out the exercises.
The group is led by a class instructor.
Main roles:
Gentle Water Exercise is very therapeutic for people who have experienced stroke. It can improve mobility, balance and confidence.
If you can spare a couple of hours each week or fortnightly, and are interested in supporting stroke survivors please fill out the form to apply.
