Bellyful Geraldine is looking for a Branch Coordinator to lead their local branch of volunteers to cook and deliver meals to whānau with babies, or young children who need support.

This volunteer role involves recruiting, training and managing the volunteers within their branch and ensuring all aspects of the branch are running smoothly. This will involve fundraising and community awareness events, various administration duties including grant applications and monthly reporting to Bellyful NZ, organising community awareness events and maintaining social media presence as well as organising Cookathons and deliveries. Many of these responsibilities can be delegated to branch volunteers with the Branch Coordinator monitoring.

Requirements:

• Passion for Bellyful’s aims and mission
• Good communication & organisation skills
• Basic computer skills – including word processing, simple spreadsheets & social media use
• Access to a computer or laptop
• Access to the internet

You don't need to have been involved with Bellyful before - we will give you great support and you'll get plenty of back up from the fabulous Geraldine branch volunteers, Bellyful NZ management and other Bellyful branches.🌷🌷

Bellyful is a national not for profit charity with 24 branches spread from the Hibiscus Coast in Auckland to Invercargill. Bellyful nourishes and connects communities by cooking and delivering free meals to whānau, with babies or young children, that need support. Branches get together at a Cookathon approximately once a month to cook meals which are then frozen ready for distribution to whānau. Referrals for meals are received from health professionals, friends & family and from the whānau itself.

A Police background check is required for this role.
