Assist with morning tea, lunch, any activities or outings that have been arranged, and be generally friendly and helpful. If you are agreeable, you may be asked to go in the van as a co driver to assist with the pick ups/drop off. Volunteers are rostered for days/times and this is always flexible. Any help is appreciated, whether it be a morning, an afternoon or a whole day - 10am - 3.00pm. Emergency contact people on the roster are also required if you cannot commit to a specific day/time.
Friendly outgoing nature, able to get along with others, capable and practical, can show empathy and understanding to clients and families situations.
This can be discussed to suit.
1 - 5 hours per week or casual on call.
