Workshop Helpers and Sewers

We are a non-profit charity based in New Zealand, offering free creative therapy workshops for individuals experiencing illness, trauma, and loss. The workshops focus on beading crafts and offer a variety of items such as jewellery, bag tags, suncatchers, and bookmarks. Our charity aims to reach a wide audience; therefore, we work with other charities around New Zealand exclusively. Our workshops are all-inclusive, non-judgmental spaces to create, gather and make friends.

-Workshop helpers to be willing to help thread beads, crimp clasps, help choose colours if need be and speak in a calm and kind manner to our participants.
-Sewers to be able to make our kit bags and bead bags

Requirements:

Workshop assistants to be kind, courteous, polite to our participants experiencing illness, trauma, loss and disability.
Sewers to have your own machines and cotton

A Police background check is required for this role.
