Database role: Phoning & emailing organisations to find out information about their services. Entering the information into the database, following a set of guidelines and requirements. This role will require training with our Information Officer to ensure the criteria is explained, then could potentially be done from home.
Booklet role: Similar to above, but different requirements in recording the information to suit the planned resource. This could also be done from home after training.
Good communication skills. Confident making calls to organisations. Good data entry skills.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Flexible, but would like a couple of hours a week minimum.
The database role can be ongoing indefinitely.
For the booklet project we are hoping to complete this within a few months, this would depend on the number of volunteers and time contributed.
