Our Area Committee members make a huge difference in supporting our work and touch every aspect of life and work at Hato Hone St John. Along the way, they get involved in their local communities and develop strong friendships with like-minded people.

The role:
The primary purpose of this volunteer role is to support our Area Committees with their aspirations and initiatives to support their local communities and complete the business as usual (BAU) activities required to ensure the area committee runs smoothly. Community Support volunteers could be involved in a variety of different ways such as the completion of admin tasks such as handling mail/correspondence, responding to community queries, overseeing local property requirements or involvement in local events.

Requirements:

Customer focused with outstanding communication skills - a SMILE goes a long way
Good admin skills
MS Office and keen to learn new tools

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

up to 5 hrs a week
Possible evenings, possible weekends depending on availability
