SECRETARY ROLE

Tasks include minute taking at meetings and administration assistance for monthly social group.
Working with an enthusiastic, dedicated and supportive committee made up of members of Blind Low Vision NZ and Volunteers.

• Supporting the continuation of social activities for a very appreciative membership of vision impaired, mostly elderly members.
• The joy of being involved with a positive group.

Requirements:

• Basic computer and telephone skills. Minute taking.
• Willingness to communicate and work with a team

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

• One meeting per month, one and a half hours - currently afternoon of first Thursday in the month but could be changed if necessary.
• Optional – involvement in the social activities offered.
