One or two volunteers are needed regularly to assist at the Ashburton Toy Library . Ideally they would like someone who can volunteer weekly but it can be job share. If they didn't want to come weekly, fortnightly would be great, or two different people fortnightly) for two hrs at a time (they could choose which time slot works best for them) either 09:15 - 11:15am or 10:45 - 12:45pm on a Thursday or a Saturday (again, they could choose the day which suits too!)
To assist the paid librarian by things like: checking toys being returned to make sure all toy pieces are complete, returning toys to shelves, talking to librarian about the toys being returned, showing families where different toys are located, cleaning toys.

Requirements:

Friendly, likes being around children and families, attention to detail

A Police background check is required for this role.
