We are seeking volunteers to become part of our team, with three volunteers on duty each Wednesday night from 6 pm until 8 pm.

The primary responsibilities of this position involve providing exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their costuming requirements. You will assist customers in locating the products they need, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking off returned items, and returning them to the correct area. Some general housekeeping, sorting, and steaming of items will be required at times, as directed by the leading volunteer.

We will provide training, and support in this role.

South Canterbury Drama League Costume Hire Wardrobe, stores more than 5,000 costumes and props for hire to theatrical groups, schools and individuals.

Requirements:

We are seeking someone who has an interest in dressing up, costuming, sewing, or gaining customer service experience for their resume. The ideal candidate should be polite, a team player, and willing to collaborate with others. We have fun and enjoy helping people find the perfect costume!

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

At least 1x a month rostered on from 6pm until 8pm
