ESOL Home Tutors

English Language Partners

In this role you will assist adult migrants or former refugees on their English learning journey. You will be teaching the English they need to participate, gain independence and resettle successfully in NZ. Lessons are usually held once per week for approximately 1 hour in the learner's home but alternative arrangements can be made if preferred.

You will receive approximately 16 hours of classroom-based training prior to being matched with a learner. This will ensure you can provide them with the language skills and confidence necessary to integrate and participate in Kiwi life and culture.
