Chinese New Year at the heritage-listed Ng King Brothers Chinese Market Garden Settlement

Come and learn about the settlement from Robert King, a descendent of the Ng family. Also, with Chinese New Year just around the corner on 17th February, we'll include learning about the traditions around this important date on the Chinese calendar. There'll also be time to network with other volunteers and volunteer managers. This is a great way to start the year!

Venue: Ng King Brothers Chinese Market Garden Settlement, 128 Allens Road, Ashburton
Wear comfortable shoes for a guided tour around the site.

(There are no amenities, such as water and toilets, at the settlement)
