The State of the Decade of Volunteering, provides a comprehensive review of volunteering in Aotearoa New Zealand over the past ten years. Drawing on Volunteering New Zealand’s flagship State of Volunteering reports from 2015 to 2024, alongside new data from the 2023 General Social Survey (March 2025 Update), the report offers an analysis of trends, challenges, and transformations in the volunteering landscape.

Presented by Dr Johann Go, Director of Research at Volunteering New Zealand. He will provide a deeper dive into youth volunteering insights.
