Volunteering for All: Disability Awareness & Inclusion - ONLINE

1 in 6 New Zealanders are disabled which means it’s crucial for people to understand how to create an inclusive environment.

Join us for this practical and informative ONLINE workshop focused on promoting disability awareness and fostering inclusive practices in volunteering. Whether you’re a volunteer, coordinator, or organisation leader, this session will help you better understand the barriers faced by people with disabilities and how you can create more accessible, welcoming environments.

We’ll explore:
✔ Understanding different types of disabilities
✔ Inclusive communication and behaviour
✔ Adapting volunteer roles for accessibility
✔ Creating a culture of belonging within your team or organisation
