Introducing Muriel Morgan, who has recently joined our team as the Community Connections Coordinator for our Ashburton office. She previously worked as a Financial Mentor at Presbyterian Support Upper South Island in Ashburton for 10 years, until the Budget Service closed at the end of June. With her wealth of experience, Muriel is expected to bring great value to Volunteering Mid & South Canterbury. Having been a volunteer herself, she also has experience in recruiting and training volunteers during her time at the Budget Service, where she utilized the services of VMSC for volunteer recruitment.
Muriel is very excited about her new role with Volunteering Mid and South Canterbury and has already begun to fully immerse herself in her new position. She has eagerly dived into her responsibilities and is already making a positive impact in her new position. You can expect to see her primarily in Ashburton, where she will be supporting local organisations and promoting the benefits of volunteering to the people and the community in the Ashburton District. Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Muriel.
