Volunteering Mid & South Canterbury is delighted to welcome Allison Ross to the team as our new Community Connections Coordinator for Mid Canterbury, based in our Ashburton office.

Allison was born and raised in Christchurch before moving to Ashburton after her marriage, where she worked at Higgins Print. She later started a family and moved to the North Island, where she held a variety of roles with The Salvation Army.

With a passion for supporting others, Allison retrained as an early childhood teacher and achieved a Master’s of Education. She returned to Ashburton in 2023 and was pleased to reconnect with the caring community she had once called home.

Allison’s focus has always been on helping people become stronger and the best version of themselves. This aligns closely with the values of Volunteering Mid & South Canterbury, and we are thrilled to have her on board.

With her wealth of experience and strong community connections, Allison is a fantastic addition to the team, and we look forward to the positive impact she will make in the Mid Canterbury community.

Welcome, Allison! We are excited to have you on board and look forward to the energy, experience, and connections you bring to our team and the Mid Canterbury community.
