Kai for Kids
Kai for Kids cooks, nourishing free lunchtime meals for children in the Mid Canterbury region. Our first pilot project is to cook lunches for all of the children at Netherby School. Nutritious meals help with learning and lifetime health.
Available Roles:
Help prepare lunch for school children
Helping to cook the school lunches for children at Netherby and Hampstead Schools.
Help to deliver lunch to school children
Picking up cooked lunches and delivering to two local primary schools
Helping grow vegetables for school lunches
Help to grow vegetables for the Kai for Kids lunch programme
Dish Washer
Volunteers are needed to help wash dishes at Kai for Kids on weekday from midday till 3pm
Chop and Chat Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to do baking, roll meat balls etc for Kai for Kids
