Area Committee Member

The role of the Area Committee is to develop and deliver local initiatives which build a healthier, stronger and more resilient community, and act as custodians for St John’s local buildings. Members have a passion and drive for their local community and St John, have great community connections and networking skills and the ability to lead or assist with a project or portfolio. Each member holds a specific portfolio and/or support group representative role.

Requirements:

Passion for the wellbeing of your community – and your willingness to get stuck in and help keep the vital work of St John going.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Up to 2 hours per week but could be 10 hours one week and none the next
