BASE Mentor Programme
An opportunity to share your time with kids aged 10-16yrs who come to BASE after school and during school holidays.

Base provides opportunities for kids to learn new skills and suppot then to b creative within a safe, fun enviroment.

Attidtude/Skills/Knowledge required:

  • Good Listening Skills
  • Positve/Fun attitude
  • Interest in working with kids

6 Week mentoring Programme
For yr 12-13 Students to share a minimum of one afternoon per week at BASE Youth Centre and help the BASE coordinator provide fun activities for the kids at BASE.

Build leadership skills, role model, teach, guide and support, on completion of the programme students receive a Certificate of participant with community volunteer hours, which looks great on your CV or application to Uni.

Requirements:

Good Listening Skills, Positive Fun Attitude, Caring, Reliable, Interest in working with kids &/or goal to teach.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

The programme is a six week programme
