MS South Canterbury is looking for Male Visitor to spend time with a middle-aged very astute gentleman that is living in a care facility due to his physical disability
The role may include:

accompanying this man on social outings eg the mens shed
chat with him about fishing , farm machinery or just a walk around the block
encourage him to do a crossword with you or read to him.

This man is in a power chair so trips out and about are costly and kept to a minimum.

Requirements:

Good listening skills and interested in helping someone to enjoy and appreciate what they have.

Time commitment:

1 hour per fortnight or monthly
